Schedule of Services

The Holy Eucharist is celebrated at St. Matthew's four times a week:  twice on Sunday mornings, and once each on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.  Choral Evensong is offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month from September to June.

The Holy Eucharist

Sundays, 8am

Celebrated in the Chapel.  Its form is in the language of the Book of Common Prayer, 1962.

Sundays, 10am

Celebrated in the Church.  Music for this service is furnished by either the Choir of Gentlemen & Boys or the Choir of Women & Girls (or combined together) under the direction of Mr. Stephen Candow, Director of Music and Organist.

Wednesdays, 7.15am

Celebrated in the Chapel.  A breakfast follows.

Thursdays, 10am

Celebrated in the Chapel.  A time for discussion & chat follows.

Choral Evensong

1st & 3rd Sundays, 4pm (September to June)

Evening Prayers are sung by the choirs of St. Matthew's.  The service follows the Order for Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer, 1962 and is held in the Church.
