Members help to educate the parish about and facilitate generous response to some of the many needs in God's world. These include support for local, national and international groups involved in homelessness and poverty issues, coordinating special collections for Diocesan ministries and the local food bank, and organizing the annual Angels with Backpacks project (which helps street kids in downtown Ottawa). The committee meets monthly.
