Youth Group

Sunday March 7, 2010 (6.30 - 8.30pm) - Gathering - Meet in the youth room for fun and fellowship.

Saturday March 27, 2010 - Out of the Cold - An opportunity to volunteer and help out.  There are many ways you can help such as cooking, serving, setting-up, greeting the guests and registration.  We had a great turnout last time and we hope to have another large group helping out again.

All youth in grades 7-12 and their friends are welome to join us.  Questions can be emailed to Tara at st.matthewsyouth@rogers.com.

Lenten Study

Mission Impossible - An introduction to the Mission of God.  We are exploring who God is in Jesus and our call to participate in God's mission.  Sessions are on Tuesday mornings from 10.30 - noon until March 23rd.  $15.

Meditation Groups

Mondays & Wednesdays

On Monday evenings from 7.30 to 9pm, the Rev. Kevin Flynn leads silent meditation, followed by reflections on the following Sunday's gospel reading.  On Wednesdays from noon to 12.45pm, Sue Rayner uses the recorded teachings of Fr. John Main, followed by meditation.  Both groups meet in the chapel.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

We knit or crochet shawls while offering prayers for those who are hospitalized or infirm.  Please contact Anne Goodwin for more information at ea_goodwin@hotmail.com.
